Every morning, Lily wakes up at six thirty. She doesn’t live close to her school, so she takes the public bus. Before she leaves, she always eats a quick and healthy breakfast, usually a bowl of cereal and some milk. She also packs her school bag, making sure she has all her books, pencils, and a lunchbox.

At seven o'clock, Lily walks to the nearest bus stop. She checks her watch and waits patiently. The bus is usually on time. When the bus arrives, she shows her student ID card to the driver. She always says "Good morning" with a smile. She likes to sit by the window to see the city wake up.

The bus ride is about twenty minutes long. During the ride, Lily often reads a book or reviews her notes for the day’s lessons. Sometimes, she just looks out the window at the busy streets and the tall buildings. She sees other students walking and people going to work. The bus is a great place to see different things and different people.

When the bus stops near her school, Lily says "Thank you" to the driver before stepping off. She walks quickly from the bus stop to the school gate. Being on time is very important to her. Taking the bus is not just a way to get to school; it’s a time for her to prepare for the day and enjoy the small moments of the morning.
